I love, love, love Hayden Panettiere’s storyline in tonight’s episode of HEROES! For three seasons past, Hayden’s character Claire Bennet was uncertain about her own identity, at first scared about her powers and sometimes whining about not living a normal life. But in tonight’s episode, when confronted with helping someone, Claire lived up to being that hero after all. 
In tonight’s “Strange Attractors”, Claire and new BFF Gretchen (Madeline Zima) went through a sorority hazing with two new pledges. It was all just supposed to be a game to find a treasure in an abandoned warehouse/slaughter-house. But it wasn’t a game. Becky, the sorority head who happens to be a villain with invisibility, wants to isolate Claire from Gretchen. Becky tried to kill Gretchen, but Claire’s instincts kicked in and she immediately sensed danger. Twice she saved Gretchen from being killed. Claire fought an invisible Becky and the villain managed to stab Claire’s heart with a big metal prong, nailing her to a wall. But Claire hit Becky and made her re-appear right before everyone’s eyes. It was amusing to see Claire ask Gretchen to help her down the stakes, much to the shock of the two other girls with them. Claire was heroic!
But now that Claire’s secret is exposed, I wonder how she’ll get these girls to forget what they saw?

I think Gretchen is up to something. I think that kiss was an attempt to cover up whatever it is from Claire. Noticed how Gretchen played down the kiss when Claire again questoned her. Gretchen has an agenda of her own. We need to watch her.
