Hayden Panettiere seemed to have had enough of the paparazzi attention on her love life. The Heroes actress spoke out to Britain’s Company about how celebrity romances are ruined by too much media intrusion.
"The public wants to read about your personal life, and the paparazzi give it to them by nosing into your personal life and saying things that are just not true and horrible."
And I have to admit, Hayden fans do want to know about her. But the last thing we want is to hear nasty rumors, and there’s certainly been plenty of that.
Hayden has had a year-long romance with co-star Milo Ventimiglia, and couple looked so happy together especially in the early days. But as the media caught on and followed HayLo’s every move, it was so much harder for them to have any privacy. There were rumors about Hayden almost getting pregnant, of being a Milo-hater, and so much more. And yet, this candid video showed that Hayden and Milo might still be good friends after all!
And then there was the summer romance with Steve Jones, and that didn’t last long. One wonders if the media-craze had something to do with it.
As to losing her privacy, Hayden bemoans that even getting milk and groceries can be a pain because of the cameras following her around!
"I used to walk my dogs in my pyjamas. You know something’s not right when you’re lying in bed for 15 minutes in the morning going, ‘How do I get milk for cereal without having to leave my house?’ I would be so happy if I could walk down the street without someone coming out of the buses."
Poor girl.
