I’ve read about four reviews this morning that all say the same thing, that Hayden Panettiere’s new song Wake Up Call is a complete and total bust. Some of the reviews have said she can’t sing for the life of her. Some have said it’s hilarious to even watch this video because of how bad it is, and some have just plain said that Hayden…sucks.
Watch Hayden’s new video for her single Wake Up Call below, and let me know what your opinion is. I think it’s a cute song, and I really enjoyed the video, but come on. We all know that acting is Hayden’s forte!
Below the video of Hayden’s new song are some links to published reviews on it that are way less than…favorable. I think the reviewers were a bit harsh…after all, this song is just like anything Ashlee Simpson or Avril Lavigne would sing, and we’ve supported them…
The song is OK but certainly nothing special. It sounds a little generic. The video is indeed horrible. It’s very cheap and boring. The whole rap/hip-hop thing around 2:37 is just f-ing terrible. I think some people will like this song but the majority will hate it.
On the bright side, Hayden does look good
And the argument of some that she can’t sing is just so wrong. I’ve heard far worse on the radio from artists who only get praise and love from reviewers. That just goes to show that there is very little integrity left in the professional reviewers community.
She reminds me a lot of Paris Hilton’s Stars Are Blind….but the song is growing on me..
I’m not a huge fan of the song or the video. I think she has a good voice.. but the song.. it’s horrible. It has a horrible message, and the video has nothing interesting about it. I mean “You won’t look at me enough or give me enough attention.. so I’m gonna cheat on you.”? What kind of message is that, especially to young girls? I just think Hayden is smarter than that.. and I believe she can sing about something that’s more mature.
But that’s just me.
to tell you the truth, i think it’s an great song, i really like it! and even though she hasnt a great voice she does it good
Hmmm…i like the song..but i was expecting something more rocki or so…but is not that bad….even though it reminds me of stars are blind from paris hilton! And the lyrics are a bit cheezie

The song is gargeous, which is not very rocky and not very slowly”the gold middle”,i like it))))
I think she has a great voice! I love all her songs. This one isn’t the greatest, but it’s not the total worst out there either. I agree about the message it’s sending, it’s definitely not the best message.
lol the rap part is my fav part in it.
To be honest it’s good song with a beat.But i have to say people now a days are to damn picky when it comes to music.I heard a lot of the stuff today come out of the music industry and most of it sounds so retarded.Hayden music reminds of songs from the early 90’s with a better beat to them.
