This Spring, Keds is launching its first ever sustainable line of footwear:
100% organic cotton, recycled rubber outsoles, non-toxic and naturally dyed colors, and earth-friendly eyelets and shoelaces!
How cool is it that Keds is making a difference in the world (and not just our feet)!

Two very happy readers will each receive a pair of Keds Green Label shoes. It’s easy to join, but you need to answer this question in the comment as an entry – “What’s your favorite part about the Keds Green Label and why?”
- One entry per person per day.
- It’s open to residents of the US only.
- Contest ends 11:59 midnight EST on April 5, 2008 (Sunday).
- Two winners will be randomly chosen and announced via blog and email the week after.
- If a winner does not reply within 3 days, he/she forfeits her winnings and an alternate entry will be chosen.
- REMINDER #1 : In previous contests, I have had several winners forfeited for failure to reply to my notification of the winners via email. Please make sure your settings don’t put my email into the junk folder, otherwise you’ll have no idea you won. Better yet, please check this blog for the winners’ list after the contest ends. I’ve been wearing Keds since I was a child and love them. Glad to know that they are using organic cotton.

I would have to say my favorite part about the Keds Green Label is- they are recycled rubber in the outsoles, and colors made from non-toxic natural dyes which I think is such a ‘Plus’ because I am all for anything that has been recyled & can help save the Earth and it’s resources.

I like that Keds is using organic and recycled material to produce the same style I’ve always loved.
I like the fact that they use recycled materials for the outersole. Any corporation that thinks outside the box to preserve the environment has my support!
