Following in the footsteps of finishing school reality shows like Charm School, Rock of Love Charm School, From G’s to Gents and the Tool Academy, MTV is planning to launch The Girls of Hedsor Hall on February 4th.
The premise of the show is simple, it takes a bunch of loud-mouth, ill-mannered party animals and puts them through some grueling challenges to see who can change their ways and walk away with a $100,000 prize.
Judging from the trailer I think this show will be better than the Charm Schools. Here’s why:
1. They actually ship the girls to England. On Rock of Love Charm School they just brought in Sharon Osbourne. Though she does have a British accent Osbourne was actually accused of assaulting one of the contestants.
2. Though this may be difficult to imagine they girls actually seem more out of control than the Flavor of Love and Rock of Love contestants. In the clip below we can see them partying, urinating in public and making complete fools of themselves and that makes for good TV.
3. I think the contestants may actually want to change. I sort of had a hunch that some of the girls from the previous shows were in it for the 15 minutes of fame and weren’t serious about fixing their lives.
