Though no one’s saying why just yet, Karissa and Kristina Shannon, Hugh Hefner’s 20-year-old twin girlfriends, have reportedly been asked by Hef to move out of the Playboy mansion and across the yard into a Playboy house instead.
Hugh started “dating” the twins at the end of 2008, when his previous three girlfriends and stars of reality show The Girls Next Door either broke up with him or were also asked to move out.
Hef himself actually Tweeted about the move last week, saying “The Shannon Twins are growing up. They’re moving to the Playmate House with my blessing so they will be free to do other things,” and then a little later: “News of Shannon Twins moving to the Playmate House has prompted others to ask about becoming girlfriends in their place.” He’s also apparently helping them “finish their education,” as well.
No word on what the third girlfriend, Crystal Harris, is up to.
