Can you just feel the electricity at the Heroes camp?
The show got the Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Drama Series! It’s up there along with ABC’s Boston Legal, ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, Fox’s House and HBO’s Sopranos. oh, wait… Heroes is the only freshman series in this veteran-filled category, double whoot!
Masi Oka also got mentioned in the supporting-actor category for his role as Hiro Nakamura, another first for Heroes. This time, the actor competes against Boston Legal’s William Shatner, Grey’s Anatomy’s T.R. Knight, Lost’s Michael Emerson and Terry O’Quinn.
Still another Heroes nominee is David Semel for “Heroes: Genesis” in the category of Director for a Drama.
The 59th Primetime Emmy’s will air on Sunday, September 16, 8/7c at Fox.
