Heroes final episode for Volume 2:Generations, called “Powerless” is anything but.
And it shocks like a a bolt of Elle’s electricity!
All for family. Claire decides to go public with the Company files that HRG left. This gets Bob concerned and asks HRG’s help stopping Claire. HRG makes a deal and shows himself to his family, promising that the company will leave them alone in exchange for his continued ‘employment’. What exactly did HRG agree to, and how in the world can anyone trust the Company to keep their word?
Two in a row. Hiro goes after Peter and Adam in the Primatech warehouse but his sword was no match for Peter’s abilities. He gets help from Nathan and Matt who fly to the Primatech warehouse on Angela’s tip. Nathan convinces Peter that Adam is not to be trusted, and Adam simply used Peter to get his hands on the virus. Peter uses his EM powers to dissolve the virus into dust, and saves the world once again.
To kill an immortal. Hiro once again proves his mettle when he confronts Adam Monroe. Knowing he is no match for the immortal’s regenerative powers, Hiro transports Adam away to “where he won’t hurt anyone anymore”. Hiro traps Adam 6 feet under in Kaito’s casket. Oooh, what sweet revenge!
A hero falls? Monica would have been toast if not for Micah’s quick thinking. The boy genius asks his mom powerless Nikki for help to look for Monica. They finally find her in an abandoned house, where the gang set the house on fire. Nikki went inside and was able to get Monica out but, without power, she can’t lift a beam that would let her out too, when horror of horrors! — the house exploded! Is she dead?!!!
Pandora’s box. Nathan, Matt and Peter decide to do what’s right and expose everything they knew about the company. They hold a press conference and tells everyone that there are ordinary people among us who do extraordinary things. But there are organizations who want to hide the truth. Nathan was about to spill his secret when he gets shot!!! A man was seen walking away from the scene, and as Angela looked at the news, she says, “now you know you just opened pandora’s box.”
The villain is back. From Mohinder, Sylar finds out the that cure for Maya’s powers was the same virus that stripped him of his. When Maya found that he killed Alejandro, Sylar shots her dead. When Mohinder revives Maya’s life with Claire’s blood, Sylar steals it and tries it on himself. Sylar gets his powers back, and you know what that means…

hey Ken! so wasn’t that the greatest season finale ever!
Well, it could have been, Ate Grace. Considering they shortened the season, it still wasn’t enough reason for them to pack three episodes in one… Plus, the “saving the world” this time was so anti-climactic IMHO… I’m talking about Peter catching the virus. The scenes that caught my interest though, were the last two. the press conference, and Sylar restored.
