Hacking does not completely describe what they did.
Hana Gittelman and Richard Drucker virally entered into the Company mainframe to destroy it. And as much as I understand this, the duo literally entered the internet, or as Drucker calls it “the sentient universe”.
Unfortunately, someone else was waiting for them.
