#88 “Root and Branch” part 1- Variety is the spice of life.  Julian Dumont has a very special gift – he can make clones of himself and vegetatively regenerate. He is one of the Company’s most protected asset because if he, the original Root dies, then all the clones/branches die with him. In a Bag n Tag ops, the Company has been cleaning up duplicates of Julian Dumont who had gone rogue. The deadly Company agent Sabine Hazel is Dumont’s partner, and protector. She was also his lover… until she got a message from EVS Dropper. That’s when she got suspicious about the Julian who claims to be Root.

#89 “Root and Branch” part 2 – Weeding out. Sabine Hazel found out from EVS that the Julian she knew is not the original. Feeling betrayed, she kills him without mercy and looks for the Root. What she found shocked her into action.

#90 “Root and Branch” part 3 – Extraction. On instructions from EVS Dropper and a little help from Noah Bennet, Sabine Hazel found the original Julian Dumont and extracted him. The Root was imprisoned to electronically regenerate at the will of the Company and disconnecting him would not guarantee survival. But Sabine took the chance, perhaps wanting to save the man she loved. Others, like the EVS Dropper want Julian too.
