we just got these eps in oz now so thought i would add my two cents worth - i like the stuff with matt and sylar but am getting a bit bored with the rest - SO agree with Dimbo, WHAT is the deal with claire? i dont mind the new characters tho, adds a bit of mystique. i kind of prefer the simpler plotlines, i thought season 3 was just nuts, they did more in each episode than other shows did in entire seasons (and there were SO many logic holes), and i think ended up wasting some great ideas which could have been fleshed out properly - i think the team could learn something about pacing from shows like buffy, which took a great concept and built each season's storylines carefully. so again agree with Dimbo, they have run out of steam completely now it seems, but i'll give it a few more weeks....
btw so not feeing the emma/pete thing...seriously that is his love interest??

I had so many high hopes for this season, with the end of Volume 4 having the most rediculous plot hole ever, so big you could fit a Death Star in it, it was like watching a DC comic come to life.

And when I was watching the first episode of the new season all I could think was, 'this is just Season 2 all over again, "oooo we're all trying to have a normal life" et cetera, et cetera' just the same tired refrain we've been having for so long. We know these characters, we've been through alot with these characters and now you're trying to tell us they still think they can have a normal life?

It was only salvaged by Matt Parkman, trying to raise his kid, finally being back with the love of his life and basically telling Angela to fornicate herself with an iron stick.

but overal, I've given up on Heroes, they took it in a great direction but wrote themselves into a corner, and now they can't clean up their own mess.
