What happened after the season 4 finale on HEROES should not have come as a surprise. Hints were dropped all season long, especially with Claire Bennet, who wanted to come out in the open, and Sylar, who wanted to come clean.
So at the end of last night’s final episode of season 4 (Volume 5: Redemption), HEROES hints of where it is taking the show for next season… if… NBC renews the series.
But if the next season is written as well as last night’s season finale was, then I really have to say (again), HEROES will see better days!
So, here is the opening scene for next season’s volume 6 on HEROES, which is titled “Brave New World”:
The heroes breathe a sigh of relief, as they save New York and the world again. Sylar (Zachary Quinto) has a moment of clarity, and like a schoolboy who came up with the answer, excitedly tells Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) how satisfying it felt to control his abilities and not kill Doyle the Puppet Master (guest star David H. Lawrence XVII). But Peter wasn’t listening. Something else is going on. Something that can potentially destroy everything that specials have tried to protect for so long.
Claire (Hayden Panettiere) approaches her father Noah (Jack Coleman) and asks him what happens to Samuel (guest star Robert Knepper) now. Lauren (guest star Elizabeth Rohm) got in touch with their previous contacts and will take care of Samuel. I’m not sure exactly what that means. Is Samuel gone for good? But Claire was now more interested in what Lauren was telling the reporters who were present when Samuel started the earthquake – it was all an illusion, a special effects. But Claire has had enough. When reporters approached her father for comments on what happened, Claire took the attention, and told the reporters, “if you want to know what happened here tonight, keep your cameras on me.” And she began to climb the Ferris wheel.
What is Claire doing?
Noah cried “she’s going to break my heart.” Hiro and Ando stared in amazement. Peter stopped in his tracks. Only Sylar responded positively, “it’s a brave new world.”
Claire jumped from the ferris wheel as cameras followed her fall. She stood up, cracked her bones back into place, and amidst flashing bulbs and microphones at her face, “I’m Claire Bennet, and this is attempt number…. I’ve actually lost track.”

And my mind was immediately racing! This should be an exciting premise for HEROES Volume 6. What happens to specials when the world gets wind of their abilities? Experimentation? Abuse? Acceptance? Fascination? Fear? And a wild idea but equally electrifying – a new team of superheroes!

I really would love to watch volume 6. Heroes haven’t ended! I need to see good, happy ending. And I truly think it will be, but… Maybe that ending was just to make us imagine how it could be.. bet no.. they know they did S04 amazing, and they know fans loved it, so they will do S05 – volume 6. Becouse of money, or some good guys will do it for lost souls who needs answers, and if they will , i’ll thank them.. ;)
Heroes is like the only real TV show I have watched from start to finish. I tried with 24 but couldn’t and Lost, well if you missed a show you just got LOST lol. Heroes is amazing, you want Peter to get his old ability back, you want to see more Heroes with new abilities and diferent agendas. Sylar finally came good, for what?? Hiro even recovered from his Tumar thabnks to his Mum. Surely they haven’t ran out of ideas OR fans???? I purcased the box-set and can’t believe they will just cancel. They ended Volume 5 with a hanger so to just cancel like this is criminal and not very Hero like.
omg! i loved that show, it was one of the only show i have watched from start to finish, as well! i think they kinda should at least make one last episode, for all of those people who believe Sylar and Claire would finally work-out!!!!!!!
why are they doing this , that was the best series on tv ,i got the 4 boxe of the dvd of heroes , and i was hoping that ther be next volume of it :(

there isn’t a “the rest of the series”. What you saw is all any of us got. Sadly. :(
Also I want to see some more romance… I kind of liked how Peter and Emma were starting to connect!!!! Common bring it back and spice things up…. this season will be where things get intense no?

I VERY much would have been unhappy IF YOU abolished NBS project called Heroes, so I think I shall for all lovers of heroes to record ONE finish the story, SO LET IT BE A SERIES AND IF YOU THINK THAT THE BUDGET NBS and not so scary THEME FOR THOUGHT.
What happened in the sixth volume. Anyone can tell me whether there will be a fifth season. The sixth volume when will? …

i really..really..really love this series and i’m looking forward for the next volume..“a brave new world”.
ok, NBC realy needs to end this show in a better way, all my friends and i even my parents love this show… sylar is the coolest villain ever, so cold, so blood thirsty, and then just, i wanna be good, nice twist on it ;) we all got angry when the show ended the way it did, make the final volume as good as the end of volume 5, and you got another hit on your hands ;)
I have not watched a single thing on NBC since hearing of Heroes cancellation. Who the Hell is in charge over there. Most likely a bunch of morons using a flawed ratings system. The adventures and storylines are way better than most things on television. I guarantee “The Cape”, that people are saying will replace Heroes, will fail after just one season. The people who enjoy shows like heroes are not easily duped by carrots on the end of sticks. NBC Eat a fat one. I hope you are swallowed up by a bigger and better company and are gone forever. F.U.
All Heroes seasons were great. Yea, i wanted to see Peter with many abbilities too, but i think that it had to be like that. If new volume WILL come out, i want to see that Peter becomes like his father (that he can take abbilities and use them all) and that he helps other special men who wants to be helped.
AND at the end, i think that they need to finally END Heroes with VOLUME 6, because they allready started it in the last series of volume 5. They just can’t stop like this.
I really don’t understand why Sylar wasn’t killed in the previous season’s. I can’t wait for the next volume
Heroes has practically died. They need to completely change the writing team and overhaul the show.
Generally speaking this does not look like a good way to come out into the world. Its not like coming out hasn’t caused trouble in previous seasons, requiring changes to history.
One of NBC’s most interesting shows! I hope it gets a respectable ending AND A MOVIE! Clearly season 4 wasn’t the best but it was still solid. And if I might add a much easier to follow than Lost, which LOST me long ago. I’ve been waiting a wondering and hoping on a return for Heroes. There ARE many fans out there I’m not sure how the network stations receive their ratings/numbers, as far as I’m concerned their #’s are off. Heroes is a wildly popular show. I watch few network TV these days (I’m watching more & more cable series) & Heroes was a show I looked forward to every Monday. My coworkers & patients(I wrk @ a hospital) & I would always talk about it the morning. Bring it back while we are still talking! You can’t replace it with anything better!!!!
u know, this is may be the most popular Occident series film in China after friends and Ugly Betty! Amazing, doesnt it? i now just want to steal hero’s ability and go to the future see the end of it! haha, but in the net,some of us sometimes think the scenarist is too awful–none of the Heroes’ business, and he just not giving the good end to the heroes. Come and end it!
sadly there will never be a volume 6, nbc was to blind to notice how many viewers the show actually had, and has cancelled the series… now they talk about possibly a movie who cares. fuck nbc just watch cw from now on they still have good shows
