The script for High School Musical 3 is completed and a tentative release date of October 2008 has been rumored!
“Fortunately, Peter was able to get [the new script] into us before the strike,” director Kenny Ortega told TV Guide at Sunday’s Diversity Awards. “Now we’re developing our music. It’s exciting. We’re looking forward to beginning in ‘08,” with an eye on an October theatrical release.
Despite much chatter about whom from the original cast has signed on to return — Ashley Tisdale, for one, tells us she definitley has — Ortega maintains, “They’re all coming back.”
The movie won’t be haunted (thank goodness! I thought that was a lame premise) but it will be headed for the big screen! Rumor has it that this last High School Musical movie will focus more on the senior year:
“I would love to do a senior version of ‘High School Musical,’” Zac Efron agreed, admitting that he likes it a lot more than the original idea of ghosts invading East High. “I think ending the series as a theatrical film would be amazing.”
i kno some of u hate vennessa but i still think she should be on. those pics werent made to be on internet plus alot of people took pics of themselves. as the matter or fact alot of stars take nude pics if themselves. go to bsnude for proof of pics! plz except vennesa

it just wouldnt be HSM without the originals.
if it were different people the chemistry on set would be out of whack and no one would watch it.

I think everyone in high school musical 2 should be in hsm3. It might be horrible without them! No one will watch it without them!
Please dont take out Vanessa Hudgens! or any one else on the cast! I wont watch HSM3 if you take out even one of the cast members! (take out some extras if you want but keep the same people who do the leads)
I hope Vanessa Hudgens comes back in hsm3. she just adds the movie a spark to it. though i’m not much of a zac efron fan. in fact i hate him. he get’s so much attention and he’s probably concieted!

I think they should make HSM like Star wars were they have like 6 or 7 movies…I know its expensive but it broke the record charts both times so i think if moneys a problem they would get plenty back if went out in theaters….Everyone loves it!!…It would be amazing!!..and if you dont like HSM to bad! NOW I CANT WAIT!!!!!! (because everybody i know loves it and wants more i would hate to see it end!!!)

great, another high school musical…i’m srry, the first one was okay, not as great as i thought it would be. and i found the second one horrible.

OMG she should not b coming back. (V) They can do way better then her. The rumor about the film being hanted is true or least that’s what I am told by my friend off !! I think and agree with all my friends. Aka big Zac Efron fans!! We all think she should be gone and be replaced by someone better. Way better!But that is how the film makers want to be then fine they should be that way… if u think about it her and Zac would never be dating if she was never in these MOVIES!! Ether way I will always be a HSM fan and NUMBER one at this!! And I will always love ZAC EFRON WITH ALL MY HEART….
