The script for High School Musical 3 is completed and a tentative release date of October 2008 has been rumored!
“Fortunately, Peter was able to get [the new script] into us before the strike,” director Kenny Ortega told TV Guide at Sunday’s Diversity Awards. “Now we’re developing our music. It’s exciting. We’re looking forward to beginning in ‘08,” with an eye on an October theatrical release.
Despite much chatter about whom from the original cast has signed on to return — Ashley Tisdale, for one, tells us she definitley has — Ortega maintains, “They’re all coming back.”
The movie won’t be haunted (thank goodness! I thought that was a lame premise) but it will be headed for the big screen! Rumor has it that this last High School Musical movie will focus more on the senior year:
“I would love to do a senior version of ‘High School Musical,’” Zac Efron agreed, admitting that he likes it a lot more than the original idea of ghosts invading East High. “I think ending the series as a theatrical film would be amazing.”

You are all being stupid, it wouldnt be right without vanessa and vanessa and zac make tha film. I think in hsm3 that they should show more romance with Chad&Taylor (Corbin And Monique) Are they supposed to be going out?? Oh And A Prom would be awesome.

i really love to have vanessa back…i really like her and zac together.
i dont no y all u people only like the stars in the movies and dont reconise the others like lucas grabeel and corbin bleu and the others. lucas does a great job and ryan so suck on that.
I dont like the way V acts….i think that Duff would be way more better.

so if you dont like Vanessa then just keep loving Zac,Ashely and others but dont tell offending things about ppl you dont like.you just waste your own time cuz first of all,HSM cast wont even read all your comments and letters(at least they wont answer you or pay any attention).you all think that if you’ll e-mail them then Zac or Vanessa will answer you while thinking that YOU ARE SPECIAL,but think about HOW MANY e-mails they have everyday from girls who think they are speacial?you see?
moreover,its not the only movie they all are going to act in,there will be 10000 of other films where you will see them all apart.and ONLY then you can see who of them is really cool and who is not.now you say that you dont like Vanessa bcuz you are in love with Zac(in HSM) but when that movie will be finished and you wont be anymore their fans,only then you will know who is who and who really deserves your love and attention.
all HSM cast is awesome.they are so young,they will show everybody who is the best actro,they reall work harder then some old actors.you can see it.
so just enjoy the great movie and good songs.
