Can you believe it?! High School Musical 3 hasn’t even started production yet and there is confirmation that High School Musical 4 is being written.
Disney Channel Worldwide chief Rich Ross told Hollywood Reporter yesterday that Disney is planning to make the fourth HSM a made-for-tv-movie, although he says that could change.
“We are writing ‘High School Musical 4,’ ” Ross said. “Are we going to have all the cast back? Probably not. Will we have some of them? I hope so.”
Wow! What do you think about that? I wonder which cast they hope to have back. This is definitely good news for HSM fans who were saying that Disney can’t end this franchise.

It’s not HSM if it has a new cast and the 3rd one is enough. Hsm 4 will not be good or a big as the original. Disney should find something new as Hsm is getting very old fast.

WOW. I think Disney is going overboard with HSM..but then again, everyone loves the franchise.
Another HSM could mean a chance for some undiscovere to show their talent to the world. Maybe I can audition for HSM4.

I think they should’ve stopped at three. That’s just my opinion. Not that I don’t like the franchaise, but they won’t be keeping the old cast for 4. Which is pretty sad, honestly.
But oh well. That’s not for us to say. We might be seeing a whole saga with these movies in the future.
