Forbes has listed Hilary Duff as one of “Hollywood’s Moguls in the Making” in a recent listing. The list of 10 up-and-coming moguls looks at entrepreneurial stars that could “rule the celebrity-industrial complex” for many years.
The most successful celebrity moguls, according to Forbes, are those that are multi-disciplinary. So, acting, music, clothing, perfume, etc etc.
Forbes Top 10 Moguls in the Making
- Curtis (50 cent) Jackson – Earnings: $150 million
- Beyoncé – Earnings: $80 million
- Justin Timberlake – Earnings: $44 million
- Kanye West – Earnings: $30 million
- Tyra Banks – Earnings: $23 million
- Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen – Earnings: $15 million
- Avril Lavigne – Earnings: $13 million
- Pete Wentz – Earnings: $8 million
- Jessica Simpson – Earnings: $6 million
- Hilary Duff – Earnings: $5 million

$5 million is a whole lot of money and I understand ppl don’t have the $ to get food, but how would it feel if you got ripped off half of that $ you worked hard for? You work your butt off every single day just to see you ain’t being payed fairly.

Her International Company which she is C.E.O of is worth almost 1 Billion! This is just how much shes made so far this year (2008)
You are so right! She did a lot this year, so why isn’t the $ adding up accurately? She should have more! She should have like 15 million. I’m happy she made the cut but the numbers just ain’t adding up. =/

There are a lot of inaccuracies in that list and other lists like that, by Forbes and other general media publishers, but she is doing well and would make such a list. Many are not included on that list and 50 Cent and others positioned high on that list definitely would not make the top or a high position on any such list. Others that are positioned lower would really be higher. Many artists who would be there are not. That list is popular media at best.
