Hilary Duff co-hosted the AIDS Walk Opening Ceremony in Central Park, NY this morning. In addition, Hilary Duff had a group together to walk as part of the event. Mike Comrie was there at her side as her “Hilary Duff – Walk With Love” group progressed through the city.

Over 45,000 people came out this morning for the largest AIDS fundraiser in the world. Aside from addressing the crowd before the walk began, and walking with her group, Hilary Duff was there to talk to reporters to help increase the awareness of the importance of everyone increasing their own education about HIV/AIDS.

It was great that Hilary attended the 2009 AIDS Walk, a great cause. I was a Security volunteer at the event and she was so popular it looked as if she would be mobbed by her friends; so I rushed to assisted and played back up security (I was directly behind her until she got to the beginning of the walk) and went back to my post near the stage. I wonder if she noticed. It was a great event.

Unfortunately, homosexuality and AIDS are used as weapons against America where they hadn’t previously existed prior to Contact. Meaning weapons, both social and psychological, as well as biological. The number of federal officers and others walking among the gay marchers alongside Hilary must have been reasonably profound, as you would find at any such events. She looked good, though, and it looked like a long, cold march. I hope that sweatwear was warm enough for her, especially after all the sweating from the walking combined with the cold weather.

Mannnn that’s so sad,:( I wonder if she has AIDS? Remember those people she used to hang around with that were always wearing skulls. I remember when her and Mike started dating he was wearing a jacket with a bunch of skulls on it. Just think, if all those people in the picture are infected. So Sad:(
