Hilary Duff went to Bogota, Colombia this weekend to kick-start her Blessings in a Backpack program in the city. While there, Hilary Duff was named “Ambassador for the Youth” by the Mayor, Samuel Moreno, and was given a key to the city.
Blessings in a Backpack will hand out more than 3,000 backpacks filled with food for the children of Bogota during their weekend visit – each weekend these bags will be refilled. In addition, Hilary Duff will be trying to promote the immunization of children.
