Hilary Duff teamed up with iconic fashion house Hervé Léger to host a party on May 6th in homage to the “bandage dress”. The event was held at LIVE! on Sunset and celebrates the launch of the latest Hervé Léger by Max Azria Collection. Hilary herself wore one of the iconic bandage dresses in a gorgeous lime green:
Hilary looked a little shy in her revealing dress, but there was no need to be shy. She looked fantastic!

I think she looks just awesome in that dress!! Love it, especially the color and the whole idea for it being made from bandages. I also think those earrings are supposed to be statement. They’re quite punk, like Hilary said =)

The idea seems to be that this dress is made from, or appears to be made from, bandages, of the kind used in medical situations. The pin earrings I would guess are representative of the pins still sometimes used in keeping bandages together and from unravelling. It’s… a fashion statement. lol
She looks awesome, though. :)

those earings are so inappropriate for that dress. Why would she wear them? ick. But personally i don’t really like this look for hilary. The dress doesnt fit all that well.
