Hilary Duff in the Official “Stay Cool” Trailer!

The official trailer for the movie, Stay Cool, starring Hilary Duff has now been released! The movie is about author Henry McCarthy (Mark Polish) who returns to his hometown and delivers a commencement speech to a class of graduating high school students. While there, he is asked to prom by a sexy senior student, Shasta O’Neil (Hilary) and is also reunited with his old flame, Scarlet Smith (Winona Ryder).

It’s interesting to see Hilary portraying such a “bad girl.” I’m sure she had lots of fun pretending to be someone completely different. What do you guys think of the preview for the movie? Would you watch Stay Cool?

It still doesn’t have a set release date but it is rumored to be released sometime this fall. We’ll just have to wait and see!

This movie actually looks like it could be genuinely good, but whoever edited that trailer was an idiot. I am constantly shocked by these awful trailer editors, who dont get what makes a trailer look cheap. Lesson one, choose 1 maybe 2 songs tops, this trailer kept changing the song every 2 seconds it was distracting and sloppy. Lesson 2, get a deep voiced narrator, if you dont have one, dont use a narrator. Lesson 3, tell a cohesive story, explain clearly, why that dude is at the school and give some indication of how the story is going to progress. General audiences dont want to see a film about nothing. I’m sure all us Hilary fanatics will all grab the dvd the first day, but i dont think that trailer would convince anyone to see it.
