Hilary Duff Introduces New Dog, Thanks Fans

Hilary Duff shared with her fan club (you need a membership to see it) that she was SO happy with the results of the AIDS Walk last Sunday.

Hilary writes that the “Walk With Love” team raised $4,380 for AIDS Walk NY. The 24th Annual walk had 45,000 participants and raised more than $5.6 million for Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC) and dozens of other tri-state HIV/AIDS service organizations!!

Hilary Duff writes in her blog a big thanks to everyone for all the work fundraising for the event. Hilary also writes her thanks to fans who voted for her for the TRL Italy awards, saying she was very surprised to hear she’d won the “First Lady” award.

The blog continues to say that Hilary was planning to take a few days off in LA, but has a few exciting events planned in June. And Hilary blogs about the new dog we’ve seen her out walking!

Hilary says the dog is named Dubois, and he’s a 2-year-old Bermese Mountain Dog that was rescued from a family that’s been fostering him. She says the little dogs in her home are getting used to him. ;)
