Fantastic news! Pam, another reader of crushable.com, was able to get down to the set at UNCW in North Carolina to snag some more photos of Hilary Duff filming Provinces of Night. These photos show some close-ups of Hilary playing with the young boy on set (this does look like a scene they’re filming).
The movie is based upon a novel by William Gay. If the movie follows the same story and timeline, it starts in 1952 with a man who has returned to his home after 20 years of roaming. His three sons are grown up and angry, all hating him. However, the man finds solace in his grandson, a boy who respects him and his age. This grandson has a girl whom he loves, Raven Lee, who I am assuming is Hilary Duff in this movie. I don’t know who the little boy is in these photos, however.

Yea that’s her kid the in the movie. The movie fast fowards a couple yrs. That’s why she’s preggers and then suddenly the kid is older.
I guess the setting takes place in 2009.
Though i read it takes place in 1952.
… it could be a flashback to when she was pregnant…aw i cant picture hilary pregnant i bet its cute tho! she always is!:)
how can she be pregnant and then the boy is five years old already?
I believe the little boy plays her their son (Hilary and the other Guy in the picture) I say that because there are some candids of her pregnant talking to the same guy onset.
she looks so cute just like always…….
