As promised, the music video for “Reach Out” just went live on Hilary Duff’s MySpace!!
The “Reach Out” track was produced by Ryan Tedder, co-written by Tedder, Evan Bogart and Mike Guillory. It samples Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus,” and the remix (used in the video) features Prophet. The music video for “Reach Out” was directed by Philip Andelman.
The music video begins with a scene of teenagers running in their underwear outside an LA mansion. Prophet begins the song, with Hilary shown back-first looking into a mirror, and shows various parts of her before she grabs our attention singing the first verse. It’s a very sexy music video!
“Reach Out” is the new single for Hilary Duff’s upcoming album, “Best of Hilary Duff“, which will hit stores on November 4, 2008. You can pre-order the album here or here.

okay her myspace says her the album comes out november 4th and this video says november 11th. WHICH ONE IS IT? it sounds like hollywood records is trying to screw her over so she doesn’t sell any albums. they need to spend more time supporting hilary. good thing she’s leaving them!

C’mon guys, she’s trying so hard to make it look sexy that it isn’t sexy at all and I really think it about time that she shows her grown side but this is like she whant to prive to her self and everybody that she’ve grown! Am I the only one, who dosen’t like this video? I know that she’s 21, and is a grown up, but this is too much…. I didn’t believe it was her, when I watched it today…. This isn’t the way she should go… I understand that she want’s to get rit of her “sweet girl” image, but IT’S NOT GOING TO BE THIS WAY…. Sorry, Hil…. Hey guys,
Hil is still a good sweet girl with a lot of class. She still respects herself, is good to her fans, does her charity work, treats people well. This video might be shocking to you but it’s not like she’s even showing skin in it. She showed more skin during her Dignity tour! The video is sexy and edgy but she still manages to do it without taking her clothes off and that’s a great thing! In Hil’s daily life she is still the girl that we all grew up with and loved. It’s just a music video, it doesn’t reflect who she really is. The girl in the vid is a character, it’s not Hilary! You can still be a Hilary Duff fan and just not be a “Reach Out” fan. Hil will always be a sweetie. <3

You’re right… It’s a person she’s playing, not herself. It’s just a shocking video, because we’re not used to she her like this…. Or, that’s how I feel… She is showing skin, but other people shows more in their videos, so… I’m still a Hilary fan, I think she’s great.. Then I’m not a fan of this video.. But still, it’s veeeeryyyy sexy and a bit too much.. I just hope, that people who isn’t fan of her and never will be, will do something… Say something bad about her, just because of the video… I can just read how us, her fans reacted, how would they react? It makes her look like a complete slut.
Yes, i want people to know that she grew up. but now this way. Dignity (with love, stranger ) were also grown up songs,but they were still Hilary and amazing.
People will get a wrong impression of Hil.
I hil just did it this way in a rush to let people know she grew up.
I can’t show this to people and still say I’m proud being a fan. I always said hil was unique en different than all those mtv-sluts, but this doesn’t make it look like she’s different.
But I’m still a fan and I will be forever.

OMG just stop you guys. THIS IS A VIDEO!!!!!! do you honestly think Hilary will act this way in real life? NOOOOOOO!!!!!! she does have dignity and you all know it. THIS IS FAKE. I mean, its like a movie, but shorter. She does play a character like all her other videos. She is practically THE only HUGE disney star left that hasnt done anything bad as her own self, not as a fake character. She looks amazing in this video and atleast she wasnt half naked like what the other stars would do in a sex music video. SHE WAS WEARING REGULAR CLOTHES THAT PEOPLE CAN WEAR TO A DANCE WHATEVER.
