Hilary Duff cancelled her recent Much Music appearance because she is sick. This is from her blog:

Wow! What a week. This week started with MTV at my door Monday morning @ 8am. They have been a fly-on-the-wall for the last 2 weeks. Tuesday, I was supposed to do a photo shoot for Instyle/Your Look magazine and today, I was supposed to leave for Toronto but I have a horrible cold. I felt the cold and flu like symptoms coming on earlier this week. I thought I could beat it before it beat me…no such luck! The doctor ordered me on bed rest. I feel like weak and not strong. I miss my Canadian fans and I will make sure to get there when I get better. I’m taking like 4 different medicines. At least I am home where I can rest up and get a little TLC. This weekend it is back on the road off to NYC! I have to rest, rest, rest…
