Hilary Duff to play 'Barely Legal' lawyer for NBC

Back in November, it was announced that Hilary Duff had signed a contract with NBC to develop her own TV show.

Now more details have been released — Hilary will star in Barely Legal, a half-hour comedy where she will play a character based on the true story of Kathleen Holtz, a woman who passed the California bar at age 18.

I can see Hilary Duff in this role — dealing with how others will relate to her character being only 18 years old and already having a law degree. Clients not believing she’s old enough to represent them. Other lawyers thinking she’s too young to be good. Trying to gain respect from her peers. Plus dating — will guys be intimidated by her? The show has a lot of possibilities.

What do you think? Are you ready for Hilary Duff’s new show in the near future?
