Hilary Duff will be traveling to Florida next week for another appearance for her Blessings in a Backpack charity program.
Hilary will be visiting Tice Elementary in Fort Myers, Florida on Wednesday, March 4. The private appearance will be part of Hilary’s ongoing outreach to various schools involved in the program. In Lee County, Florida, more than 62% of K-12 students participate in the Federal program for free or reduced lunch costs, which is up 12%. The need for a program like Blessings in a Backpack, which sends elementary school children home with food for the weekends, is only increasing.
Hilary Duff recently shared in an interview that her volunteer work “really brings me back down to earth and keeps me grounded and makes me appreciate every little thing that happens in my life and everything that I have.”
