Last night Hilary Duff headed out to Ultra in Toronto for her An Intimate Charity Dinner with Hilary Duff fundraising event for Blessings in a Backpack.
One photographer recounts her experience, and the massive pandemonium that erupted with Hilary’s arrival! (Note, this picture was taken last year, but it’s apparent that the paparazzi follow her everywhere!)
“As Hilary’s stretch SUV pulls up, the crowd reacts, the flashes start firing as she makes her way to the media area, but as soon as she gets inside the media area everything goes crazy.
The paparrazzi launch themselves at the crowd like a flying wedge. People are shoved right into me with a violent force, others are grabbing my arms, and trying to elbow in front.
The force is such that if the videographer hadn’t been beside me I would have been knocked right over. Fortunately, he also has a couple guys pushing against him, which shoves him into me and the two oppossing forces almost cancel out! It’s like the videographer and I have become a self-supporting structure in the middle of chaos.”
And the frenzy continues!
“Kids are getting shoved around, everyone is packed together so tight it’s becoming hard to breathe, I seem to be surrounded by people who are pushing with all their strength to get to her right through me. The reporter beside me has a panicked look in her eye and wants to get out, but no one can move.”
Thank goodness everyone came out unscathed.

She was thin. She could return to that. She is beatiful now. The hair is the same.
I think she looks fantastic. That’s a wide shot from a high angle. I hope she’s alright. Those crowds can be relentless, and you really have to be careful navigating through them.
Poor Hil! paps have been really mean to her lately!! it’s amazing, there’s no law to protect them! I would have a panic attack if i was her! poor thing!
it is horrible that the paparazzi is following her around everywhere. there needs to be a law about that. at least shes ok now. love your website!!!keep the good stuff coming!
