Time for some important news instead of the crazy rumor mill fodder!
On Friday night Brad Pitt took part in the “Hope For Haiti Now” fundraiser that was essentially organized by George Clooney. If you missed the telethon (which was absolutely wonderful by the way, and which had me sobbing for two straight hours), you can see Brad’s speech right over here. The story that he told about a musician in Jacmel was beautiful and touching.
News has been released that Hope For Haiti Now has broken records by raising a staggering $57 million, a number that is still steadily climbing thanks to the fact that you can still donate online if you missed the opportunity to do so on Friday. You can also donate there even if you’re not a U.S. resident.
The $57 million also doesn’t take into consideration any donations that were made by corporate organizations. The final total will also have to look at how much fundraising occurred courtesy of people downloading the performances via iTunes. Once they add in those two sources as well as the money continuing to pour in, George Clooney’s Hope For Haiti Now will be a huge success and an incredible amount of relief for the people in Haiti. Everyone at PittWatch who donated – either to this telethon or one of the other numerous charity organizations who are helping Haiti – should truly pat themselves on the back for being so amazing.
I’m very happy that Brad Pitt was a part of the telethon and that Brad and Angelina both donated a large sum to Doctors Without Borders shortly after the tragic earthquake hit.

I’ve seen the video, Angie is so much like her mom in so many ways. It is such a nice tribute. They put up some very nice & touching moments with their mom, you could tell how much Marcheline loved her children. She is looking down with a big smile from heaven knowing her children are such fine & good hearted people.God bless her soul.

GASP Angie is her mother’s twin. The way she moves and talks and the way she looks, my word it’s incredible. You can see where Angie gets that delicate, soft elegance. And the long skinny arms. :) Really striking how much alike they look and move. Gorgeous.

Yeah its a beautiful video, thanks Vivian. I just hope that we can show some respect and keep it as a place to comment on their mother, not a new place to start a debate about the recent rumors surrounding Angelina.

Marchelin’s brother also passed away around this time last year.
They visited their sister’s house with Angie and James.

The shooting of The Tourist will start end of Feb (Until then Depp will promote Alice in Wonderland ). Depp is scheduled to shoot Pirates 4 in June. That means The Tourist will be filmed within less than 3 months. He will need to wrap up before May.

With cave ? Since their main house is relatively small and full of children’s stuff it may be for the guest house. One of houses is for their bodygurd and another house is for the office work.
Thank goodness my computer is up and running again. Some how I got a virus last Thursday. I was having computer withdrawal and knew the repair man would not get to me until today (Tuesday). Sunday morning my daughter-in-law called to ask me what I thought about the breaking news. She said she heard that Brad and Angie had split up and that she was taking the children. She assured me that this was true news and not a rumor. Well somehow I got myself off the phone and then I started to try and figure out if this could be true. In the back of my mind I was thinking, this is not right, this can’t be. Two hours later I was able to get on my son-in-laws computer, went straight to Pittwatch and nothing. Went to a few other sights and then to CNN and People and again there was nothing. Monday I got back on my son-in-laws computer, straight to Pittwatch and then I saw that thank goodness it was not true. So I am just getting caught up. What is this about a 700K cave. These poor people never seem to be able to catch a break.

Yes, tomorrow is 3rd anniversary of Marchelin.
Angie looks very much like Shiloh with her blonde hair in this video.
Marchelin was a beautiful and loving mother just like Angie.
The property with the cave was purchased in August 2009. There is a link discussing the property in futher detail in the Perez Hilton comment section of Pittwatch. Tabloids no nothing about these people they make things up as they go; the JP’s know their truth…and that’s all that matters.

I read about his “700k cave” too. This rumor is getting way out of hand. It even has my grandma a little worried, and she is not the type to do that. She’s been a long time Angie fan, way before Madd showed up.
I heard about them not going to the Oscars. Would have loved to have seen them. But I guess its just as well.. they never win and it’s very sad. They were both so fantastic in Benjamin and The Changeling.

JUST Jared just posted they wont attend Oscars. I’m glad I rather see candid pics of the family in Venice than the hoopla and body language idiots/experts analyzing them at the Oscars. Brad won’t be nominated so there is no reason to go .I just read they didn’t attend Oscars in 2007 even though Babel was nominated and didnt attend in 2008 so this follows their pattern. It drives me crazy when they are labeled famewh*res because they rarely attend Hollywood events/parties/ premieres etc.
