It’s been a few days since the big news that Isaiah Washington will not be returning to Grey’s next season. I’m still irritated by the news. I feel like he’s gone from bad guy to victim in the span of a few months, and I don’t think it’s much of a coincidence that T.R. Knight was asked back a day or two before news that Isaiah had been fired leaked out.
Do you guys think there’s still alot of drama going on that the media isn’t reporting? Or was it simply Dr. Burke’s time to depart? Was there anything that could’ve saved Isaiah or was he doomed from the moment he spoke the F word in public?
I have not watched the show since Burke left.

Dr. Burke was one of the greatest characters on the show, I miss him. Gray’s anatomy will never be the same without him.
What goes on behind the scenes I believe is irrelavent. If George said something racial to Burke that was racial would George have gotton fired. What comes around goes around. I think if Burke would appologize to George maybe they could work it out. I like the character Burke. I think it is up to who is in charge of the show who stays and who goes. Is Burkes character an asset to the show. Take all this into consideration and let the owners make the dicision if he stays. It is just my opinion. Also I did write a comment before and had to rethink my decision.
I just watched the first episode of Grey’s and I thought it was written by kids in high school. What is going on? The Chief blames Meredith for his hospital falling in the ratings? Alex kisses a girl in front of Izzie because she said something nice about him that he thought made him look weak? Aren’t these people supposed to be doctors? And Meredith going on and on about Derek to Christina while she lies on the ground impaled by an icicle? The list goes on and on. Derek should be charged with sexual harassment and George is just lost. He acts like he is definitely in high school. Bring back Burke. He wouldn’t stand for all this garbage!

i want him back…he was excellant in this role and i love Preston Burke….my opinion is that if you want to be happy and in grey’s anatomy christina should be happy….and only Burke can make her happy….please get him back….

Greys Anatomy has NOT been the same since Burke left!!! His relationship with Yang brought alot of plot, emotions and character to the show and America LOVED this couple, get them back together!!!! RE UNITE them!!! This Owen character does not even fit into the series or look right for the part and the other female doctor was worse!! We get tired of Dereck & Grey and the Yang & Burke relationship made YOUR series!!!!!! BRING BURKE BACK PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have all four series andf only like the first 3 because it is so funny and full of plot and excitement with Dr. Burkes struggles with Yang and he is so good in acting!!! I do not even like Grey’s Antatomy without him and I like the show but you are adding too much and need to go back to basics and characters as your beginning to make this l.ook nothing more than a Soap Show!!!

you know… you guys rock. i agree with those supporting Isaiah. We need him back. Even if its at least for a couple of episodes. If they bring you back, show them what you’ve got Isaiah. I’m sure the ratings will shoot through the roof. Till then, I’m praying for the best.
