I have been sent a meme from Kelly at Gossip Girl Report that tasks me to tell you seven ways that I am like Gilmore Girls characters. So, here’s what I’ve come up with.
- Like Rory, I grew up with a single mom and we struggled financially. Although my town was not quite like Stars Hollow, we had an incredibly tight knit community support system.
- Like Paris, I was driven to study very hard to get into a good school. My homework always came first and I put an incredible amount of pressure on myself to be the best at what I did.
- Like Lane, music has been a big part of my life. I play piano, clarinet, a little trumpet and saxophone, and I sing. I am most accomplished in the clarinet, but music has to be a part of my life somehow. I have played in concert bands, jazz bands, and sung in choirs. And I cannot function in complete silence. Music must be on all day.
- Like Sookie, I was very accident prone as a kid (and even a little now). I practically lived on crutches. I got married with a sprained wrist and even now have a sprained foot (let me tell you, the bottom of the foot takes forever to heal!)
- Like Lorelai, I am a coffee addict and a coffee snob. I even have a coffee blog to prove it.
- Like Jess, I love to read. War and Peace is my favorite book; I first read it in junior high. I read a lot of the classics and of modern literature, although I also read a lot of mainstream novels and science fiction novels (that’s my husband’s influence there). Right now I’m reading A Tale of Two Cities.
- Like Emily, I enjoy throwing parties and setting out nice place settings. I guess I have a bit of Martha Stewart in me. Though mine are not nearly as elaborate as Emily’s are, and I don’t have hired help! I love collecting things for my kitchen – serving dishes are my ultimate weakness.

1. im like paris in my bossy ways. well at least sometimes

-Like Lorelai because I’m loud and usually doing something that makes everyone say ’she’s crazy, but I love her anyways’
-Like Rory because in class I’m a little quiet, which sounds weird considering why I’m like Lorelai, but I don’t tend to speak up unless spoken to in class.
-Like Sookie because I’m a clutz, which is strange because I have never broken a bone but i did run my uncle’s ATV into a tree. I WAS 9!
-Like Logan because I want to have much fun as I can before going off to the real world and having to be a grown-up (although my fun isn’t as crazy as his)
-Like Lane because I always have to have music playing no matter what I’m doing, and I play the flute, and can sing ok.
-Like Luke because change kinda scares me, he doesn’t want to leave Stars Hollow ever and I don’t want to leave my little town ever either.
-Like Emily because I want the best for all of my friends and family, sometimes I might push them a little, but most of the time I think I know what’s best for them, and I do everything in my power to get them to concede to what I think is right.

1. I am like Lorelai because she loves to wear nice and as well as comfy clothes, but she likes to wear reallt nice things,and is with the style, and that is how I am.
2. I am like rory becasue i love school, i like to do work and read, and i am going to go to unniversity.
3. I am like sookie becasue i like to cook as well, not so much as a profession, but to make simple things like cookies, or supper one night for my family.
4. I am like Jess because I like books, (and man is he ever cute!!!)
5. I am like Lane because I love music i cant go a day without listening to it!
6.I am like Paris, becasue I can get competitive with school, because I love to get A’s.
7. I am like Emily becasue I love decorating and shopping way to much.
9. I am like Luke because I can be really moody, but I can also be very friendly like Luke.

1. I am a lot like Rory because I always put my education first and I want to be a journalist! Some of the same movie/music interests.
2.Just like Lorelai, I am ADDICTED to coffee. I am also very independent like her. We share some of the same music/movie interests too:)
3.I am like Lane because I love music with a passion. Seriously, I can’t go a day without listening to my iPod or the radio.
4.I am like Luke because I am also afraid of change. I like things the way they are, in their right place.
5.I am like Logan because I love to have fun. I cherish every moment and want to do once in a lifetime things. I am not as spontanious though.
6.Like Paris, sometimes it is hard for me to work on school things with others. Not because I’m too competitive, but it’s just easier for me to work independently.
7. I am like Emily because I love fancy parties. I don’t get to go to a lot of them, based on where I live. But when it comes up, I’m all for it!
I absolutely LOVE this show! I still watch the re-runs. I picked up a banter from these girls. I guess I truly do “Speak Gilmore”! :)

Well, that’s fun…
1. I’m like RORY because i dream with a job that makes me travel around the world and i’m studying journalism at my university.
2. I’m like PARIS because i’m a kind of a lonely girl and i’m really bossy sometimes…
3. I’m like LANE because i LOVE Rock & Roll, The Clash, The Cure, The Who,…anyway, all the bands that Lane loved. I love music and i can’t live without it.
4. I’m like JESS because i feel lonely and angry sometimes, a little lost too you know, it’s like you don’t know what to do with your life right now because everything is so confused and not the way you wanted it to be. And ofcourse, i love to read, love it!
5. I’m like MICHEL because most of the time i really don’t care about what people say, i just do what i have to do and i’m a little “dark” sarcastic.
6. I’m like LUKE because i feel lonely and i am everybody’ shoulder you know, everybody trust me and talk to me about stuff that they don’t talk to anybody else. And even being a little grumpy sometimes, i’m a nice person who is always there for…whatever the person is or the situation. And ofcourse, i love my crazy Lorelai.
7. And ofcourse, i’m like LORELAI because just like everyone in here, i’m a coffee addicted, i talk really fast, i’m a little bit sarcastic, i love old classic hollywood movies, i have a “kid’s mind” if you know what i mean, i’m a little crazy, etc…
Gilmore Girls changed my life forever. It’s a huge influence. It’s everything…

Like Lorelai:
I’ll be honest, because I feel that most people writing on/reading this post are pretty addicted to GG. I absolutely love Lorelai. I think I am really similar to Lorelai–independent, fast talking, movie/tv loving, junk food loving, driven, etc. I think I talk in a similar way, too (aka I sometimes try to sound like her…hahah i know i’m a dork) like how she puts emphasis on certain words and everything is just entertaining and witty and well said.
Like Luke– I like my routines and am sometimes afraid of change. I have been buying the same socks for a few years now–white with little stripes on the top.
Like Sookie–I’m a good listener and a good friend.
Like Rory–I really look up to my mom and would love to be half of the person that she is.
Like Logan– I’m a procrastinator and often times I won’t do something unless I have to do it.
Like Liz–I love my older brother and often go to him for advice, reliability and stability.
Like TJ– I like to feel needed. Plus, when I’m upset, I eat a lot of junkfood, too (ex his abundance of milkshakes at Luke’s counter :) )

Like Lorelai – I talk really fast, I love Coffee, I love Luke Danes (haha), i am very persistant, i hide my emotions, especially when something is bothering me and i dont say anything, I’m strong and independant, i’m REALLY loud I act childish, i love junk food, i watch old movies, i have a jeep wrangler(well that was because of her), i need to be the center of attention, i have really blue eyes
Like Rory – I am EXTREMELY close to my mom
Like Luke – I ABSOLUTELY hate change, i have a good heart and i hate christopher
Like Sookie – I love to laugh, i’m the cultz in my family, i’m a great friend

Like Lane: I had very religeous parents and had to hide a lot of my “choices” from them.
like Liz: I am very creative and enjoy making things (not so much jewelry, but crafts in general)
like Jess: I have been known to just take off when things get tough
like Luke: I am the oldest sibling so I am always there for my sister and brother and ready to take care of them when need be
