We keep hearing a lot from the CW about how the viewers for Gossip Girl are the coveted teenage girl demographic… But I think that’s understating who is actually watching (Conan interview, anyone?). I think that men and women are watching, and I think the age group varies. My friends are mostly 30something (there’s a sneaky 20something here and there) and we watch every week. Some of us even DVR.
So, the new poll question is: How old are you?

I’m 24- soon to be 25 and love the show for its Fashion… and the story line has me intrigued most weeks too.
I’m 24. My husband, who is as keen on the show as I am, is 28.
Oh, and I watch for the fashion, and for Chuck and Blair scheming (separately, or as a unit… I don’t mind.)

but i think its very diverse i saw an interview were it was younger than 16 and there watching them flim the show
I’m 33 and love it. It’s total smut and I’d hate for my daughter to watch it – in fact I’d never let her read the books!!

I’m 18 and my best friend is also 18 and we watch it even if we’re in belgium and the episodes didn’t air here yet! I knew about the show cause I was a big fan of the OC so I was intrigued about Josh Schwartz’s new serie. I’ve got to say that there are similarities between OC and GG but that’s maybe why I love it… ^^
I’m a 26 year old guy and I am definitely as into it as my gf, maybe more. They really do a great job of getting you emotionally invested in the characters. Plus I’m in love with Blake Lively.
I watch the show and I’m 15, but I started watching it when I was 14. I mostly watch it for the fashion, but the story lines are exceptional. I do think the show is a little racy and people younger than me-and maybe even myself!-should maybe not be watching it. But, I don’t know. I was in love with The O.C., too, which is why I started watching the show in the first place. I never read the books but a few of my friends have-and have seen the show-and they say the books are A LOT racier than the show. Either way, the show is phenomenal.

34 and believe it or not, my HUSBAND got me hooked on the show.
But he never could have predicted my mad crush on Chuck Bass.
im 24, my sister’s 17. we watch it because we got hooked when we started reading the books, and then we were so happy with how the producers chose the characters, they fit them real well. as for my brother who is 19, he watches it because he has a crush on blair
I’m 26 and I love Gossip Girl. I love the fast-moving pace of the show, the characters. At first I started to watch just because of all the hype around it, but after the pilot – I fell in love. But I will admit – my fav characters are the older crowd – Lilly & Rufus…
