Kudos to Lionsgate for being transparent about rebranding an everyday object for their movie, and coming up with a cutesy name for them. If I needed new earbuds, I'd at least check out the manufacturing info on these and possibly buy them.
OK, this is badass. We've seen Jennifer Lawrence in the movie version of this jacket since the first shot of her as Katniss, and it just feels right. You can't deny that this is the Hunger Games equivalent of Harry Potter robes, and those are still selling! (There's also a cheaper version for $50.)
I love how the site makes the distinction that this is a prop bow and is not meant to be used in real life. Except for making more fan video parodies, because that's acceptable.
What's hilarious is that even though this looks like something a kid would buy, judging by the books' dark material, the studio knows it's adults who'll be buying this to put on their couches and beds.
This takes the cake for most bizarre piece of merchandise: It's a necklace based off the silver parachutes that the tributes receive from their sponsors during the Games. Also, considering the objects' more lethal parts in the Catching Fire and Mockingjay, it's a macabre piece of jewelry.
(I totally want it.)
For one, not even my generation writes letters anymore. So this is an odd inclusion, since it won't do the customers much good.
The jacket is one thing, but this represents a whole other level of detail. This is a replica of the shirts worn by the tributes in this new photo, and that reason alone makes me want to buy one. Looking like the characters is a smart way to drive sales... and couldn't you imagine wearing this to the gym and pretending like you were trying to impress the Gamemakers?
In the "home decor" category, you have the chance to sleep right next to Josh Hutcherson.
For this, I'd probably recommend you find a higher-quality alternative (not to mention made with love) on Etsy.

Must-have.
And this is where the merchandising began to get downright unnecessary.
A bit pricey for a first-run action figure, but if you want to reenact The Hunger Games in the comfort of your room, then it's worth snatching up the figures of Katniss, Peeta, and Gale. But let's see some more for the main tributes, not to mention Effie and her great outfits!
