In regards to the dolly parton-i will always love discussion. she does not sing it in the dance scene of the bodyguard. it is a country gentlemen whose name i’ve been trying to get. does anyone know who sang the version in the bar dance scene in the bodyguard?

the name of the singer in the bar scene singing i will always love you is john doe. he has released several albums over the years. probably best known for his sleasy role as the bartender in road house that swayze catches skimming the register and fires. the nephew of the rich jerk that thought he owned the town.

You know what, I have been thinking about how well that would fit in a video about them all day! But I have absolutely no idea how to actually make a video on youtube, so I couldn’t do it.

Oh, and you are so lucky to be going to the screening. I would love to go, but I can’t. At least I might be going to LA this summer. Even if the show gets canceled (please, please, PLEASE don’t get canceled!!!!!!!), the set will most likely still be there, because they do use that set for movies and other stuff.

Yeah, I did use the scene from the season 6 finale! That’s the first thing that came to mind (having so much to say, and watching you walk away). I really tried to make the lyrics fit the scenes. I am putting the finishing touches on it and I will let you know when it’s up (I actually had it up for a couple days, it did really well but I decided I forgot a few things so I took it down). I will probably title it “Luke and Lorelai-What Hurts The Most” and my username is sweetlildeby88. And as SOON as I heard they might not do a season 8, I knew I had to go on a tour. I should be there while they are shooting 7.21 and 7.22. I’m so excited! I go to school about an hour away from Hollywood so I’m finally taking advantage of that.

First of all, This song was first made popular by Dolly Parton whom, I believe wrote it as well. It was the song she sang at the end of her TV program when she was on air and, to give credit to Whitney is wrong. Whitney re-released it for her Body Guard Movie so, the billing should go to Dolly.
That being said, the true meaning of the song is not what I’d hoped would be shared between Luke &Lorelai as, it means, ‘one is loved enough or so much that they can be let go because they’d be better of doing so. YUCK! Hope this is just a cliff-hanger and we’ll get to see a happy ending the I HOPE the 8th Season.
