And you know the one I’m talking about… and here’s why.
I think celebs put themselves in the spotlight. And more or less, I think their off screen behavior is blog-worthy. If Blake Lively were to have a catfight with Paris Hilton, that’s news. If Ed Westwick lays a sloppy wet one on Britney Spears, I’m totally blogging that.
But that’s where it ends.
I don’t think that the personal lives of celeb family members is fair game or should be fodder for tabloids and blogs – especially when the behaviour is unrelated to the celeb (that’s why, in my book, Dinah Lohan doesn’t get a pass). I have blogged about a family member of one of the cast in Gossip Girl before and I immediately regretted it.
So, you won’t find the Meester story here. I don’t think it has a thing to do with Gossip Girl. If you’re looking for that sort of thing, go Google it elsewhere (and I mean that in that nicest possible way because I really do love my readers).

I totally respect that!
It’s so true, blogging about a celeb’s family should be off limits especially when it has nothing to do with the show. So Kelly you did the right thing
