Jared’s pretty good, but seriously no contest for the glorious voice and interpretation of Anthony Callea! Plus, his glorious long note at the end of the song is just breathtaking – literally!
Jared has a lovely voice, I have never heard of him before and will check him out how far did he go in the comp. He was really good in the beginning but he lost me halfway through when he seemed to lose his pitch, but still good.
Now this happens to be one of my most favourite performances of Anthony’s and he actually said in a recent interview that it was his fav’s as well.
They are both quite different interpretations, but its Anthony for me, I just die for that long note he does.
Anthony all the way!! Without question! Jared Cotters was so mediocre to me.

Jared was Ok, but couldn’t match the power and pure professionalism of that performance by Anthony Callea. Wow! how to build a song to a powerful climax and bring it back down again. It’s amazing.
Since I heard Anthony sing this song, nothing has matched it for me, including the original. Jared’s style is quite different and I’ll look for him singing other songs where I don’t have another version so firmly in my head. I’ve played and played this since I first found it on the net and I still love it a much as ever – all that richness, the deep lush low notes. The whole interpretation is so beautiful.
This is just a magnificent performance Anthony Callea is truly the master,just brilliant.
