Kat haters know they are outnumbered by not only kat fans but the many others who voted for her during idol. These haters continually reach for silly excuses. Katharine was pretty 'thin' compared to the others, I was surprised. Lakisha- I'm pretty sure I loved hers during the show...but now that I watched it back it wasn't that spectacular, damn judges. I wasn't really feeling it. JHud- I can't say I'm a fan of her tone. It sounds just stuffy to me, not a favorite either. Vonzell- Really good. But...idk lacks something special. nothing about that performance really jumped out at me. her vocals were great though. She made it her own and really changed it up. which I why I voted for her. hm.

I told myself to listen with an open mind and be willing to vote for the one that I truly thought was the best. I did that and I still ended up voting for Kat's version. I love all the other singers but I think the key it was played in and the way Kat dramatized and shook it up with her own style is what won me over. I am admitedly a fan of Kat and I was tempted just to vote for her but I didn’t. I told myself to listen with an open mind and be willing to vote for the one that I truly thought was the best. Not only was she stunningly gorgeous, but I thought it was the best rendition of this song I have ever heard. I still feel this way. The others were all good. Don't get me wrong. But Kat blew that one out of the box, despite the lukewarm reactions from the judges. When they said the things they said, I was wondering if they were watching/hearing the same performance I had just seen.
