I love Melinda, but I actually prefered Carly Rae’s version of this. A bit more personality and playful charm on a playful song.

the battle of the third places. melinda rocked and carly was pretty bad.
I adore Carly Rae, but I have to give this one to Melinda. Part of me still can’t believe she didn’t make the final, but in a way, I’m glad she didn’t. Her elimination gave us the most contemporary final 2 since Justin and Kelly.
Oh, I feel I should vote Carly, since I am canadian, but I just can’t. Melinda blew this out of the water compared to Carly – she made it seem so easy……….
