What a great way to get the night started! American Idol contestants sang to Rihanna’s “Please Don’t Stop the Music” while some of the stars from So You Think You Can Dance served up some serious moves! I’m such a huge fan of SYTYCD so it was great to see everyone!

This, besides Heart and Fergie, was my favorite performance. I also LOVE SYTYCD. I thought Ryan was so cute at the end, trying to dance, bless him.

I think this was a killer starter performance for Idol gives back, it was such a great start. I think all the Idols were great, Jason Castro sounded heavenely as always, though it was a bit odd for him to sing this sort of genre, but it was good. I also agree David Cook was good, as well as Carly. Thanks also for posting this verison up, cause the ones on YouTube are way too unclear and fuzzy. Hate that MJ left =/
