Hi everyone! Clay Aiken fans have made their presence known on this site over the past week and it made me realize that some former Idol contestants really do have huge fan bases.
I’ve decided, for now, to make Friday a “Clay Day” because that’s when I’ve put up his Face Offs. No, that doesn’t mean that this site will turn into a Clay Aiken site on Fridays. News and everything else will continue as usual, but it just means that Clay fans are guaranteed to find Clay content on Idol Stalker on that day.
Wednesday is going to be International Idol day. Canadian Idol, Australian Idol, Vietnam Idol, whatever! There will be some news about contestants from international Idols on Wednesdays.
It gave me an idea. It’s impossible to give everyone their own day but I have made a list of the Idol contestants that get the most searches on this site. Please don’t be offended by the list. I compiled it solely from their current popularity on this site. News about every other contestant will continue as usual.
Fans – send your fan art, news, encounter pics or whatever else you want to share to me before the Fan Day.
Feel free to add a suggestion! That’s important! Also, it’s not set in stone – if a certain day isn’t working or if demand for someone else is high, I’ll make some modifications.
I should have mentioned this: 5 Idol Contestants Will Get a Day – Not Just One 
John, not only can Kellie sing, she can sing rings around most singers. That’s why she landed a major label record deal, recorded a great best-selling album with tons of highly positive reviews, gets good airplay despite getting less promotion than other artists, was nominated for Academy of Country Music Top New Female VOCALIST award AND Country Music Association Horizon Award, was selected to tour with ACM Top Male Vocalist award winner and ACM and CMA Male Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year nominee Brad Paisley on one of the top 10 grossing tours of 2007 (all genres), has concerts with other top artists and headlines her own concerts and draws large record crowds, is the ONLY new (1st year) artist selected to record a song for the Sony BMG Christmas album Hear Something Country Christmas (due out Oct. 2nd), sings national anthem at many major sports events, among many other accomplishments most new artists can only dream about.

I’m so glad other people are in favor of Elliott having a shot at this. He really is extremely talented. My all time favorite is still Clay but I was seriously rooting for Elliott during his season on AI5. Some people seem to be going overboard,once again. Others see it for what it is, a little interesting and a bit of fun. Thanks Jeanne.

*guys – a quick notice about editing comments. I will start editing comments that cross the line. Please feel free to dislike or hate certain contestants. Give good arguments but, please, do not make fun of that person’s fans or say they must be “deaf” if they like someone who is a “joke.”
Still, voice your opinions, just don’t hate on people or their fans. I don’t edit comments often but I’m starting to feel like it’s becoming necessary.
For some reason, the fans of Kellie Pickler seem to be the biggest targets. They are guests here and don’t need to be treated like that.

I just came back to check the results…and all I can say is GOOD GRIEF !! I am an Huge fan of Elliott Yamin, but I like ALL of the idols (especially Season 5) and I wish them All much success. I just listened to Kellie’s Santa Baby…I like it….going to purchase it and add it to my Christmas mix that has Elliott’s This Christmas, Kat’s Oh Come All Ye Faithful as well as others.

Well, I am a HUGE Kellie Pickler fan……Have never even belonged to a fanclub before or followed ANY artist the way I have Kellie…..having said that, the reason for Kellie in my experience is because of Carrie Underwood. It always grieves me when I see unkind words written about anyone, but especially Carrie, because she has accomplished so much and received recognition well deserved. Her success, however, may have attributed to Kellie’s real “struggle” with under promotion and poor management……KDP is a jewel and so is Carrie Underewood….in fact, am so thankful for AI bringing us all these wonderfully talented young people to enrich our lives with their talent. And, thank you Carrie, for including Kellie on your Christmas CD….can’t wait to get it…..

If the polls end up being too close to call, I may double up the days for some – e.g. “Jack and Jill Day.” If the fans of one person aren’t visiting, then I’ll go back to just one.
I’ve already started getting great fan pics and stories, blog posts, myspace posts, etc… I can’t wait to share it with everyone!
libbyrose, just so you know, this Christmas album Kellie’s song is on is NOT Carrie’s album, it is Sony/BMG’s album. I’m sure they didn’t even bother to consider giving Carrie a whole Christmas album because they know hardly anyone would buy it.
As to the person who thinks Kellie and Carrie are friends I suppose you believe anything you are told. Just because Kellie’s management told her to say such BS doesn’t make it true. I know who Kellie’s REAL friends are, they write to me on myspace, and let me assure you Carrie is not one of them. The only contact Kellie has had with this bore was when Sony/BMG set them up to go to an Idol concert together (obviously to try and make it look like Carrie has a social life, but in truth the meeting was just as fake as the ones she had with Tony Romo). Oh, and then Kellie got a phone call from Miss Bore saying she was going to send Kellie her chips (probably just had her management do that). I fail to call all this a friendship but I would expect someone like Sony/BMG to try and make it one since Carrie obviously can’t make REAL friends. Talk about pathetic.

heather/smitty… I normally don’t care about celebrities’ personal lives and I certainly don’t normally even bother with people like you… but why don’t you get a life instead of running good people down? I am a Bo fan, but in defense of Carrie, I know that Bo truly cares very much about her as a friend. I also know that her relationship with Tony Romo was real because I was there in his home town when he brought Carrie there one day on a visit to his family. So why don’t you just switch your focus to your OWN friends and relationships… if you have any. If you don’t, then go out and make some of your OWN instead of imagining all that crap about other people whom you don’t personally know. THAT’s what’s not real.
All these artist are fantastic, and if you been on the boards, a while we all know the poster. Lets just vote for are favorites and not respond to this person as Jeanne ask. It does nothing but keep the attacks coming. Type as if his post are not there.

Well, I DID read somewhere when the Christmas CD was announced that Carrie had “spearheaded” the cd….if I misunderstood, I apologize if anyone was offended…..as for Carrie and Kellie, LOVE, LOVE, them both…however, KDP is my NO. ONE……

Just ignore Heather/smitty because he/she distorts the truth to suit his/her imagination or what he/she wants. He/she wishes Kellie and Carrie were not friends just because he/she is a Carrie hater. A few Carrie fans who hate and bash on Kellie always get him started, so if everyone would stop bashing and just enjoy your Idols it would be great.

Just wanted to thank you for making TGIF’s Clay’s Day. I love Clay’s voice and concerts and the way he is making a difference by improving the lives of children with disabilities. He’s a man that I respect so much because he truly cares about someone besides himself and wants to use his voice to make a difference in someone’s life who may not be able to do what you and I take for granted. Clay is also a presidential appointee to a committee to assist children with intellectual disabilities to realize their full potential. Do ya think I like and respect Clay a lot??
I also like and respect all the people on the above list but would have to vote for Kelly Clarkson since she has won a lot of awards and was our first American Idol–truly a pioneer of this show that has grown every year!!
WELL today is Monday and I don’t see anything about Kelly Clarkson……What’s up, Jeanne? Did I miss something.
