Idols Nominated For American Music Awards

Three former American Idol finalists (including two winners) have been recognized for their contribution to the music industry by being nominated by the American Music Awards.  I’m not surprised at all that those three are Chris Daughtry (Season 5), Jordin Sparks (winner, Season 6) and Carrie Underwood (winner, Season 4).  Here is the list of the categories for which they were nominated (for a full list of nominees click here).
