It’s no secret (at least, not now) that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony told everyone they invited to their wedding that they were coming to a BBQ rather than a ceremony. That was back in 2004.
Now, Robert Luketic, who directed Monster-in-Law, said J-Lo invited him and he showed up in casual shorts and sporting some booze to get the party started.
“She told me it was a barbecue because she didn’t want anyone to know about it. Being the nice Aussie boy I am, I thought I’d bring a bit of BYO (bring your own alcohol) and wear my summer clothes. I turned up to this mansion on Mulholland, walked in the living room and all her family and everyone was there.”
He wanted to find out what was going on, and ended up walking in on Jen as she was getting her wedding dress on!
Hey, at least it’s not bad luck for your director to see you in your wedding gown before the wedding!
