"If U Seek Amy" by Britney Spears

"If U Seek Amy" is supposedly the 3rd single to be released off of Britney’s Circus album. Like Sherri from Britney Groupie, I was hoping  the mellow "Out From Under" would be next because it shows Britney’s vulnerability and well, it’s well written with an emotional melody complementing the words that’s very relatable.

Having said that, I also like "If U Seek Amy". I love the clever way Max Martin did the title and how it was implemented in the lyrics. "If U Seek Amy" is naughty and fun. You really have to pay attention to the title and the lyrics to get the "joke".

I was wondering how they could get this pass "censors" for radio play. Whatever they did, I’m so glad it worked . Once you listen to the song a few times you’ll probably like it too. Now I can’t wait to see the video. Britney and her back up dancers could just dance with a killer choreography in front of a brick wall with an artistic graffiti of the words "If U Seek Amy" and I would be SO happy about it. The title already says it all .
