“I’m From Rolling Stone” Set to Premiere Jan. 7

Remember when I first posted about MTV casting for its new reality show about writing for Rolling Stone?

Well now the show is about to air! “I’m From Rolling Stone” premiers Sunday, January 7th at 10pm ET/PT.

Ever dreamed of being a writer for the most famous music magazine in the world? Meet Krishtine, Russell, Peter, Tika, Colin and Krystal – six aspiring writers all competing to become the new Contributing Editor at Rolling Stone.

Last summer, the six writers chosen from a pool of thousands of applicants were thrown directly into the mix with a wide array of writing assignments including artist and entertainment profiles and coverage of national affairs, politics and pop culture.

Some of the musical acts featured in the series include Band of Horses, Ghostface Killah, We Are Scientists, The Roots, Lupe Fiasco, and more. The writers also covered some of the biggest music events of the year including the Roskilde Music Festival and Lollapalooza
