Incredible Vanessa Williams Christmas Light Show!

I know these light shows are becoming more common these days, but they still astound me nonetheless.  This is one of those animated Christmas light shows, set to Vanessa Williams’ (Ugly Betty) beautiful and soulful version of ‘Do You Hear What I Hear?’

According to the video creator:  the video is of an “Animated Christmas light display using over 30,000 LED and 400 strobe lights. Music is broadcasted over short range FM so viewers don’t need to leave the vehicle to hear the music. “

Williams’ version of “Do You Hear What I Hear?” is my favorite, save for the impeccable version by Whitney Houston.  But, man, Vanessa’s voice, especially when she recorded this in 1996, is SO clear and pure and beautiful!

I must admit, I do not yet own “Star Bright”, Vanessa’s Christmas album, but I am putting it on my list of must-own Christmas music.

As for the video, just wow. Amazing.

I hope you and yours have a blessed and wonderful holiday.

“Star Bright” is an absolutely beautiful Christmas album. My mother just demanded I put it on, and she’s not even a fan of Vanessa the way I am lol. Vanessa’s other Christmas album “Silver and Gold” is fabulous as well.

Holy starlight! That’s like heavyweight wrestling championship *cool!* Talk about a phoenix-like return of the lazer rock show! O.O;;; This vid reminds me of a Freaks and Geeks episode.
