USA Today has released a great new video with exclusive footage from the Chicago Harry Potter Exhibition. You’ll see the Gryffindor boys’ dormitory, Hagrid’s Hut, the Herbology classroom, the Great Hall and more exclusive displays that are REAL props from the movie sets. Watch:
If you do plan to go, here’s what you need to know:
Harry Potter: The Exhibition runs Thursday through Sept. 27 at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. The exhibit is located in tents on the museum grounds; entry is through the museum lobby.
Location: 57th Street and Lakeshore Drive|
Hours: 9:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday. The rest of the museum closes earlier.
Admission: Combined admission for the museum and the Potter exhibition is $26 for adults, $25 for seniors, $19 for children ages 3-11. After the main museum closes and on the museum’s free days, tickets for the Potter exhibition only are $18 for adults and seniors, $15 for children. Tickets to the exhibition are for timed entry.
Tips: Buy and print tickets online to bypass lines. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays have the lightest attendance before schools dismiss for the summer.
