Is It Okay to Spy on Your Spouse?

The CBS Early Show talked about whether it is okay to read the email or check the voicemail of your spouse.  They spoke to a couple and the husband made a good point – you can check it but if your spouse is going to cheat, they are going to find a way.  You may not be able to prevent it no matter how much you try (or pry).

They also talked about what you should do if you are caught snooping – be honest and explain that you were feeling suspicious (if that is the case!) and you didn’t feel comfortable talking to them directly.  That is a tough call for me, though, because I wonder if it’s a good sign that a husband/wife feels too uncomfortable to talk to their spouse…. anyway, the segment is entertaining:
