Looks like Lipstick Jungle might have a small chance to survive after all — even though industry insiders said last week the NBC show was canceled along with Christian Slater’s My Own Worst Enemy.
Kristin on E! is reporting that NBC will produce all of its original 13-episode order, but that doesn’t mean the show will be picked up beyond that.
On Sunday, Lipstick star Brooke Shields told reporters the show hasn’t been shut down and work was continuing — and she’s been told by her bosses that the show hasn’t been canceled.
Want to save Lipstick Jungle? Watch the show on Friday night (9 p.m. CST) — an increase in viewers is the only thing that can help. Since the “cancellation” word last week, ratings were up last Friday night and fan response and producer lobbying could make a difference to the NBC big wigs who make the decisions.
