There is an interesting article coming out in the April 7th issue of In Touch. It’s entitled “Is Zac the New Tom?” The spread is all about Zac Efron and comparing his career, pictures and leading lady to that of Tom Cruise. You can see the magazine scans here. What are some of the similarities they gave in the article:
*They love their leading ladies.
*Hiding behind their shades.
*They are both good friends with John Travolta.
*They have the same red carpet pose.
*They have similar do’s.
I thought it was an entertaining article, but I don’t really know if you can compare the two. I think I actually see more differences than similarities, but that’s just me.

Katie looks stunning with Tom, but Zac has to get a decent looking woman to be by his side. YUK! That’s called desperate.

Well, they are both charismatic and have pretty eyes. And Zac is 5 foot 7 like Tom. But It doesn’t look that way because Zac has a slender body type that makes him look taller. I think that Zac Efron is going to be more like Robert Lowe. He is gonna be a hottie right now, but not look so hot when he gets older.

I can see a bit of similarity, but then, I think we could find a few similarities between almost any two stars. This seems to be a bit of a stretch….
