I feel that Ria and Lin are right because if you want to be real using the "F" word is a bad thing but everytime a black person does something wrong everyone is hateful. The man said he was wrong and not only that he said the fight happened with patrick not T.R. so that tells you that T.R must have had a head problem to come out and say he was gay. he must have felt that he was being called out, when in fact he was felling like he had to say something. Even patrick said that they didnt have to fire him because he never called T.R that. My little brother is gay and I love him and respect him. also to talk about M.L.K Jr on blacks is crazy because he would simple tell everyone to let this problem go because the man learned his lesson on free speech and what can happen when you use it. I think all gay's have the right to be who they are and I hope one day they can be happy with out someone saying something but to put someone on the spot because of a word that slipped out is kinda wrong if the man said sorry and did what the people wanted him to do. So to all that is thinking that he should have been fired and hated, well here's what I want to ask you " why do people still love hollywood celebs who still put down blacks, jews", think hard because the Gay's to me believe it or not is no were near what trying to get across. one love.

Hitch a ride? Ria you have not only shown yourself to be uneduacated regarding the struggle for gay rights, you have also shown yourself to either not care, or be unaware of what "our great Black leaders" stood for.

“I still hear people say that I should not be talking about the rights of lesbian and gay people and I should stick to the issue of racial justice,” she said. “But I hasten to remind them that Martin Luther King, Jr., said, ‘Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.’ … I appeal to everyone who believes in Martin Luther King, Jr.’s dream to make room at the table of brotherhood and sisterhood for lesbian and gay people.”

That’s from the Great Lady Herself, Coretta Scott King. Her words, not mine.

Obviously, the ideal of what the Kings stood for doesn't mean much to you.

Again - you and others like you have tried to turn this into a race issue simply because the use of the "F" word has been compared to the "N" word. In your arguments you have shown time and time again that you don't consider the sruggle for gay rights to be in the same class as the struggle for African Americans.

Civil Rights concern all people. The Kings were this COUNTRY'S great civil rights leaders, not just "yours". They stood for equality for all people. Were Mrs. King alive today, I think she would be very disappointed by your words and attitude.

Why can't you guys just admit that we are done dirty all the time and whenever one of us says or does the least thing wrong, it's taken to a whole other level! I'm sorry he said it and that it offended; now get over it, we have to everyday!

All in all it’s was WRONG!!!

He just did in public (on national television) what we all have done at least a time or two in our lifetime. I n our cars driving down the street, walking thru the mall"

On one hand "freedom of speech" We still have that right. Right?
On the other hand, No one should belittle anyone else. Especially for some B.S. reason – pride or whatever.

** His character is now Weak at best- Kill him off.

PS: to that ONE SAINT out there, who is going to start yell a hate gays, WRONG again.

"FATIGUE", "PRIDE", AND "PASSION". THAT MUST HAVE BEEN THE DEFENSE USED BY THE BIGOTS IN ALABAMA AND MISSISSIPPI WHEN THEY SHOUTED N****R AT MARTIN LUTHER KING AND OTHER FREEDOM MARCHERS. YOU MR. WASHSINGTON ARE AS BIG A BIGOT AS THOSE WHO SHOUTED FILTHY INSULTS AT DR KING AND HIS FOLLOWERS.

YOU SHOULD BE FIRED, THEN PROSECUTED.
