Isaiash Washington Stars As A Priest

Isaiah Washington has been cast to play a priest who was sexually abused at his Catholic High School. The film, written by Nathan Scoggins, is titled The Least of These and “focuses on the corruption of priests who do not speak out to protect abuse victims.”

Scoggins said he reached out to Washington because of an interview Washington gave in which he said he was no longer being offered roles in films because of fallout from the notorious “f word” incident regarding Grey’s Anatomy costar T.R. Knight.

“This is part of him moving forward and making restitution” for his actions, Scoggins told the Reporter. Washington was unavailable for comment.

This is certainly an interesting role. Shooting doesn’t begin until June so I’ll have further details when they pop up.
